We are seeking an experienced and NDIS registered PBS practitioner (any level).

For those with 3+ years direct PBS experience - work towards a senior role which includes mentoring, quality assurance and team support activities.

The role
Full time or part time (min 3 days).
​
You will be responsible for:

Provision of effective, evidence-based assessments, therapy, motivational and behavioural counselling to a range of clients
-
Conducting assessments to create behaviour support plans
-
Developing customised strategies for individuals with disabilities which address their needs, reduce challenging behaviours and limit the use of restrictive practices
-
Collaborate with participants, their families, healthcare professionals, caregivers, and service providers to ensure behaviour support plans meet NDIS requirements.

Conduct psychometric, behavioural and other assessments

Provide psycho-cognitive education to clients

Essential requirements ​
-
Relevant degree e.g.: Psychology / Behavioural Science, Developmental Education, Special Ed, Social Work, Occupational Therapy

Interest / experience with adults & youth (we service 8-65).

Skills/ knowledge of some evidence-based therapies.

Good problem solving & verbal communication skills.
-
NDIS worker screening check (or eligible).
-
Working with Children Check (or eligible).
-
Own vehicle.
-
Growth mindset and agile.
-
Able to maintain highly professional conduct and positive work behaviours especially in the areas of client communication and record keeping.

Provisional Psychologists should have AHPRA registration or be eligible under the 5+ 1 internship pathway.

Able to provide positive referees / references.
