ERGONOMIC WORKSTATION REVIEW

Providing postural and safety advice for office based workers

Onsite review of a workstation and provision of education, adjustments and advice to specifically target onset of injury and reduction of discomfort or pain symptoms

An ergonomic review will:

  • Identify the likely causes of any musculoskeletal symptoms

  • Demonstrate basic stretches and short cuts

  • Make onsite adjustment to chair, monitor, equipment

  • Make recommendations for equipment including: chair, workstation, keyboard, monitor, phone, office equipment

  • Provide a report and checklist outlining recommendations

  • Percentage breakdown of tasks

  • Completed easy to read and follow assessment checklist

  • Reference to AS/NZ S workbench measurements

  • Review of work organisation procedures and practices, ie: flow, breaks

  • Summary of modifications, adjustments and manual handling coaching completed

  • Recommendations for the Employee

  • Recommendations for the Case manager, including details of equipment/aids recommended and source location for easy purchase and procurement

  • Diagrams and advice on correct posture

  • Return site visit for any follow up NOT included
