About The role 
Start before Christmas or prepare for your fresh career start in 2026​

You will be responsible for:

Provision of effective, evidence-based assessments and behavioural interventions to a range of participants across the age span

Development of interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans that meet NDIS requirements. 

  • Assessment, monitoring and fade out planning for restrictive practices.

  • Developing customised strategies for individuals with disabilities which address their needs, reduce behaviours of concern and reduce the use of restrictive practices.

  • Collaborating with participants, their families, healthcare professionals, caregivers, and service providers to ensure behaviour support plans meet NDIS requirements.

  • Providing psycho-cognitive education to participants, families and caregivers.

  • Providing implementation training to families and services providers.

 

Please note: if you have a degree in allied health or special education + experience in the disability sector - but no direct experience in positive behaviour support - we will provide you with structured training and support to help you grow into the role.

Essential requirements 

  • You'll either have work experience as a PBS practitioner + NDIS registration OR you'll have a relevant allied health or special education degree with work experience in the disability sector.  

  • Good problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Understanding of neurodiversity affirming and trauma-informed PBS support.

  • NDIS worker screening check (or eligible).

  • Working with children check (or eligible).

  • Own vehicle.
